Product Description
Description:

Gymnema sylvestre (Gurmarbuti) contains gymnenic acid and antisaccharine properties, According to Mhaskar and Caius (1930) the leaves cause hypoglycemia in experimental animal which sets in soon after the administration either by mouth or by injection. It acts indirectly through stimulation in insulin secretion of the pancreases. “Gurmarin” another constituents of the leaves and gymnemic acid have been shown to block sweet fasten in humans. Gurmar translated as “Sugar destroyer” has been shown to reduce blood sugar levels through increasing production of insulin. A common side effect of diabetes is high cholesterol and here Gymnema sylvester can help as well. It interferes with absorption of fats leading to an overall lowering of triglyceride, HDL and LDL cholesterol levels.
